Myanmar refugees under resettlement program to work as farmers

TOKYO —
Twenty-seven Myanmar refugees in Japan, who came from Thailand last year under a U.N.-promoted third country resettlement program, will work as farmers after the government-sponsored orientation and language training sessions end on March 9, Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara said.
Two ethnic Karen families comprising 12 refugees will engage in the growing of leaf vegetables and peanuts in Yachimata, Chiba Prefecture, while the remaining three families comprising 15 refugees will produce mushrooms in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture, according to the Foreign Ministry.

- ဒုကၡသည္ ၁၂ ဦးပါ၀င္ေသာကရင္မိသားစု ၂စုသည္ခ်ိဘားခရိုင္ယာခ်ိမတတြင္ေျမပဲႏွင့္အသီးအရြက္စိုက္ပ်ိဳးရမည္ျဖစ္ျပီးက်န္သည့္ဒုကၡသည္ ၁၅ ဦးပါ၀င္ေသာမိသားစု ၃ စုသည္ မိအဲခရိုင္ရွိ ဆုဇုက ျမိဳ ့တြင္ မိွဳစိုက္ပ်ိဳးေရးလုပ္
ငန္းကိုလုပ္ကိုင္ရမည္ျဖစ္သည္ဟုႏိုင္ငံျခားေရး၀န္ၾကီးဌာနသတင္းအရသိရွိရသည္။
